Our client is a white-label solution for exchanges and trading desks. The platform connects buyers and sellers who wish to execute over the counter deals in a secure way. The existing platforms offer an outdated process that is lengthy, time-consuming, non-transparent and makes users vulnerable to hijacks and frauds. Offering unique features such as verified users, guaranteed transactions and instant settlement, our client had set out to change the way people trade cryptocurrencies in an OTC setting.

They heard of our Interim CFO service and were instantly interested to bring us onboard and help keep their budget in check and also assist in the upcoming round of fundraise.

Key Challenges

  • The client had burnt through $250K of pre-seed funding 6 months earlier than predicted and had to inject more personal funds and debt to finance immediate expenses
  • The launch of the platform had been delayed due to development issues
  • The marketing team hired to establish strategic partnerships had to be replaced due to performance issues
